i just bought my xb it has 140 miles on it, i love it but when its cold the shifting seems delayed, meening it revs up to about 3500 rmp before it shifts gears, in every gear, only when its cold, it shifts comp[letly normal when its warmed up. i checked the trans fluid level, it is perfect, im thinking about taking it in to the dealer, but it would have to sit there overnight, since it only happens when cold, and i really dont want to part with it that long.
so if any body has any ideas, please let me know.
thanks

Yup. You must hyave an auto. Once the blue engine temp light goes out the computer allows it to shift normally than. Basically your computer is sending a signal to control it that way to prevent you from running high RPM's until the engine temp is warm enough so not to damage it.

you could always get a remote start and then it gets to warm up a sec before you get in drive.

It's normal. My auto does that every morning. I don't like to let it idle in the garage and I am usually in a hurry anyway so I start it, open the garage door and as it opens I drive out. Usually takes about 2-3 blocks before it warms up and starts shifting smoother...
