Every other Toyota product I have ever had has it. BTW, I have had 3 differant camry's and have a friend w/ an avalon. All have retained accessory power. I wonder if it would involve new hardwire or if someone with a laptap and and an OBD plug attachment could reprogram the 'puter to do?? a little off topic - but something that "bothered" me the first day I bought the xB... on the 300 mile trip home from the dealer, I noticed that only the drivers window had an auto roll down feature. now call me impossibly lazy - but I like the "All Auto" feature on cars (except when I'm tinting them - then they SUCK... constantly trying to f-up an install.) BUT, I've got a solution in the works for this 'problem' in the works, soon as I get it all sorted out I'll post some info on it. 06-01-2004, 05:40 AM time for a re-wire tech?? Jeff Pulse 06-01-2004, 01:29 PM I added remote windows to my xB when my alarm was installed. So I can roll them down from a distance, they roll up when my alarm is activated and all 4 windows are one-touch up and down. Ancient? There were only five years between comments... I don't see what could possibly be the problem! :) firesquare 02-07-2009, 03:18 AM  sometimes the Search is a epic fail  Florida'09xB 02-07-2009, 04:34 PM  sometimes the Search is a epic fail  LOL. i didnt even look at the post dates! Sciond 02-07-2009, 07:47 PM lmao but Directed makes a module that does this..... jct 02-07-2009, 08:04 PM search isn't a fail cause he did find it while searching why make a new thread when you can use an older one Sciond 02-07-2009, 08:18 PM search isn't a fail cause he did find it while searching why make a new thread when you can use an older one well yeah.... I was LOL at the fact he did not know it was old...... ZOMGXB 02-07-2009, 08:35 PM search isn't a fail cause he did find it while searching why make a new thread when you can use an older one Because people who could potentially be helping you only skim through the first 5 half-decade-old posts before closing the tab? :lalala: Besides, this is technically an unrelated question - the OP wanted to know if there was accessory retention, while the Post Resurrector wants to know what kind of alarm system features auto-up. This really should be a seperate thread, or it's going to get ignored. A question that has to be dug for is one that doesn't get answered. The only reason I ended up here is to see how someone could possibly go five years without determining that Scions DO NOT have accessory retention :silly: Now if it was the 4000th person asking "HAI HOW DOES TEH Xb HANDLE IN TEH SNOWS?!?!?!" that would be a different story.... :tap: HondAudio 02-07-2009, 09:51 PM a little off topic - but something that "bothered" me the first day I bought the xB... on the 300 mile trip home from the dealer, I noticed that only the drivers window had an auto roll down feature. now call me impossibly lazy - but I like the "All Auto" feature on cars (except when I'm tinting them - then they SUCK... constantly trying to f-up an install.) I think I saw a post where you buy three more of the 'auto-down' switches and swap them into the switchpanel. bB2NER 02-07-2009, 11:19 PM No, however why the heck did Toyota not do this. I'm kinda glad it doesn't do this cause it would be another feature like the rear window wiper. You have to pay for it wether you want it or not. |
