Any one up for a Scion meet in St. Charles on April 29? I need some suggestions on a time and place for it. Please post if your interested.

i dont know where st charles is. but i dont know how sundays work for others. people tend to want to relax but if the weather is nice people want to go out!
i say keep an eye on the weather and make a meet that week

There is a old parking lot in St. Charles on Randall and Roosevelt next to the Jewel Osco, there was an evo meet there last Saturady so we can hold it there. What time 2:00 sounds good to me.

st. charles is about 50 mins from chicago... i am not familiar with the area, but maybe naperville would be ba better place to meet? just a suggestion

If you are in geneva, you are just as close to naperville...

just a suggestion, if you want to set up a meet get all the details together and let us know and we can do everything possible to get there... but also keep in mind that when 90% of the people that normally meet up live on the south side of chicago, and those others live anywhere from wisconsin to indiana, its hard for them to want to drive through the city and then head 50 miles out of the city to meet.

great places for meets are drive in diners, car dealers, busy meeting points like streets. if you can put together a meet at one of those places and set a time and a date and give us a few weeks to plan for it we would most likely do it, but a little over a week might not give us enough time for a meet. if it were a cruise, thats a different story. sheck the announc. to see when the next open weekend is. (july week 3 if best buy doesnt take that weekend)

keep us all posted, and we will be checking back here. I know that I will not be able to attend on the 29th or 30th due to work

no we welcome u to come join us this weekend. i know if i dont have plans the following weekend i wouldnt mind going.
i know where the others come from, in that its easier for one person to come meet a big group, as opposed to a big group coming to meet one.
we welcomee one and all to our club/group and just want to get to know u, just like we want to get to know everyone who owns a scion. we actually have chased cars down to say hi, (on foot). as for the posts above, dont take them personal, u just joined and obviously havent seen the wonder that is criminal :D
he may come off soundin rude, but thats cuz his lil brother picks on him all the time. its all love here!
hope u come see us this weekend and im sure that will make the group want to support fellow scion owners. if u dont come, im sure we can still try to make it out. its a car club, we are meant to drive. if we get there and dont like what its like, we can always go cruising. theres quite a few benefits to knowing us as we are probably the biggest group of scion people in the area and have all kinds of members. young old older :D single married spoken for, tc xb and that other car, nice funny jackasses mean pain in the butts etc

Unfortanietly i have to visit my ill grandfather on Saturday and I have to work on Sunday. For the record I wanted to meet some of the local Scion guys, I figured a local scion meet would be a great way.

well, hope ur grandfather is ok, and we meet all the time, even if its just a couple of us. mostly its the jerk criminal :P and a couple other guys, but hes much better in person. hes this big tough guy on SL :D
