V3 and V1
do the v3 and the v1 preform the same under the same conditions, i want to completly edead my car and ive been looking into the edead material i read on mandos edead tutorial that he used like 2 rolls of edead, and it seems like the floor would be tough to cover with v1 and i know the v3 is tough to apply to the doors and some other panels because its messy so i was thinking to v3 the floor and the trunk floor and then v1 the rest and i think that would be over all cheaper if i just got 1 gallon of v3 and one roll 63 square feet i think of v1 for the panels and the doors, what do you think. im just wondering if there is something wrong with doing this becuase im suprised that no one else has done it when it seems alot easier to do than to v1 the entire car
Ironically, you've got it exactly backwards.
V1/SE² are much easier on large flat surfaces(floor, rear quarter panels) while V3 works great for plastic panels and doors(anywhere that's hard to reach).
If you want to do the full interior, I'd say a gallon of liquid for the doors and little nooks/crannies and then about 80 sq. ft. of mat to do the floor behind the rear panels.
