Default Got new speakers! Now I need an amp, help plz!

I just bought two sets of Infinity speakers for my xA. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-pMGeA9M...000&I=1086012I What do you think?

Now I want to get an amp to really reach these speakers full potential. What do you all recommend? Im looking for crisp and clear sound. Im on a budget and would like to get a 4-ch amp for under 150 bucks. thanks.

Dude, how easy was the installation of those? Did you have to make spacer rings or anything or did you buy them? Also, how easy was it getting them in the front of the car, since the openings were only for 5 1/4s. I'm looking to upgrade myself so any help will be very appreciated!

I didnt install them yet, I assumed they would fit because they are 6.5??? Am I wrong?

Ok I just checked... Cruthfield says 6 1/2 will only fit in the back. CircuitCity says 6 1/2 will fit both the front and back of the xA. Can anyone comfirm that 6 1/2 will fit both?

I have always liked Kenwood amps for nice, clear sound. I had a 200W 4 channel Kenwood that I used to amp stock VW Clarion component speakers, and it sounded awesome. Loud and clear! I also used the same amp with Kenwood 6x9 3 ways and Kenwood 3" 2 ways, and again very nice. The amp was in 4 of my cars, and got flooded once (trunk of Camaro had a seal leak), and it kept rocking for 10 years.
Kenwood's don't come cheap, though.

IF YOU CAN SEND THE INFINITY SPEAKER BACK...DO IT

CRUTCHFIELD is very good at taking things back.

There are many websites that have prices for half of what crutchfield charges.

By the way if you are planning to do your own install.. do not forget
$ 10 SCOSCHE sat6 front door speaker mounts
$ 10 SCOSCHE sascn656 rear speaker mounts
$ 10 SCOSCHE ss65 rear speaker spacer
$ 20 x 2 dynamat speaker kits

If you want a amp...I found a few that I like
Power Acoustik ps4-240 4x 40W $50 online...I bought this one...does a great job

IF YOU WANT TO INSTALL A SUB, you will need one with sub out and crossovers
alpine mrp-f250
or
kenwood kac-6402
or
Power Acoustik ov4-600

By the way any amp will require like $40 worth of speaker wire, signal wire and power wire.

Good luck
