Default Getting my HOTCHKIS springs installed next week!

So, i came from work today...and I was really tired. I though i would just simply collapse in my bed and sleep. Unfortunatelly for my good night sleep, I have noticed some box on the porch. It was pretty heavy so I figured my Hotchkis springs had arrived. Such an awesome feeling!
bTW, I order them through trdsparks.com last friday i think. And just only After 5 days, those bad boys are here. i would totally recommend trdsparks if you are interested to buy springs, to buy anything...shipping is wicked fast (my order was shipped the same day!) Plus they are on sale!
I am getting them insatlled next friday, and I would definitely post some pics for you guys. i have a feeling its gonna look and handle much better than stock!

For those who already have these: How was the install? Does it rub at all (i think it wont since its only 1.5" front, 1.97" rear)....do you think i could get 20mm r 25 mm spacers for stock wheels?

PICS WILL BE UP NEXT WEEK!

Yanki01, you right, I should rephrase the title. I might just post another thread once springs are installed.
Is anyone on here who is from MA, NH or ME? The reason I am asking is because I was quoted $200 for install, but I think it can be done cheaper. Maybe someone know where? Anybody?>

I also have these springs, and i love them to death. There is no rubbing, but you do scraped going down driveways if you dont go at an angle.

Good luck with the install, the rear springs are a _____ to get on. My buddies from Scikotics helped me out putting the rear ones on. We had to jack the spring on the strut into the car then bolt it down from inside the car. Not the safest thing but it works.

Getting my springs installed tomorrow!!! Called almost every local shop, and agreed to pay $40 per corner ($160 total) + 50 for alignment.
Some shops quoted me for up to $400 which is absolutely out of range, which tells me they never done that before coz nobody would pay that much for that. iu actually tryied very hard not to laugh at their faces!

Pics will be up shortly

Next on the list is MMW headers/s-pipe

not bad on price! make sure when you get the allignment that YOU feel its right! Cause you dont wanna leave and then realize that its still off!

I got my allignment done at break check and i went twice! Its still pulling to the right! Good thing i got the lifetime tho! I need to go back to get it straighten up!

Ok, what a hell of a day!
First of, got my springs installed! Lookes awesome, especially on the front...I thought rear is gonna be lower. Maybe it just needs some time to settle down.
Second, I got home and found a big box from Monstermotorworks! mY HEADERS ARRIVED. Gonna schedule the install soon, or maybe decide to do it myself.

now bad part. Driving back from the shop today, while enjoying a brand ned sensation with new springs, I discovered my head unit is not working. No radio, no cd, nothing. Pushed power button, nothing happens, tryed to hold buttons, nothing. Manual doesnt say anything either.

Anyone know whats goin on?

Pics of new springs expect shortly!

fuse? and if you want to learn about your car i'd highly suggest you do the install yourself since you have plenty on info on this forum, and headers aren't too hard to install. i did my coilovers myself and it was pretty straightforward so i'm glad i saved like $200 there. you planning on getting koni yellows down the road?

KONIs are prob the best for tC at this point...but I dont have to worry about replacing stock ones awhile...until my stock shocks give up. Of course, I could do so, but it all comes down to how deep your wallet is.
But who knows, by the time i will have to replace shocks/struts they might come up with something else.

you should've just installed yourself and bought the koni's now...since the install price you paid would've been put towards some good shocks...just a thought
