uhh.. i've never seen hks release an intake anything looking like that picture..

they DO have a CAI available though. it uses some of the stock piping to reduce heat soak.

The unfortunate part about that theory is that the part of the OEM intake most susceptible to heatsoak... is the part they decided to keep. Thanks to my trusty IR temp gun, I can tell you that the surface temp of the OEM upper pipe after driving for 30 minutes, and then sitting for one hour, is around 120ºF. Even aluminum will fare better than that.

That packaging has nothing of "HKS" on it... looks just like a POS to me.

Says HKS on the bottom left hand corner. In the black section.

that intake looks terrible. looks really fake if the hks is printed on the coupling.
