which dash kit
which dash kit do i need to put a aftermarket pioneer deck in my xb,i have been allover and everyone tells me they dont make one yet but i know someone out there has got it done ,does the scion share the same dash as echo?

by dash kit i mean the radio install kit ,i have already done the wireing and everything i just need the hard plastic kit that supports the after market deck and fills the hole in the dash

I installed mine with the Celica\Echo kit. It needs only slight modification - there's two plastic brackets on the top that just need to be snapped off, and it fits perfectly and looks really clean. The aftermarket DIN radio will install with factory radio brackets.

If anybody's doing a double din setup
Personally, I think a dash kit really takes away from the interior. The ones I've seen create a lot of extra space, and I don't need to have my CD's in plain view to be stolen. I love the double DIN setup of the Scion, so I went with a screen up top and another piece below. Unfortunately, the aftermarket decks are too narrow to fill up the whole slot, so my stereo installers used my 2 pieces within the Scion radio bracket, and made a nice little finishing touch with some textured ABS plastic to fill in thegaps of my stereo, it looks really nice in person.
