humpty111 06-03-2004, 07:02 PM I just checked out an XB on another scion site with air bags but they did not go into details as such; what is the name of the kit, price, availability, ease of installation if anyone out there knows of a place that sells a direct bolt on kit like this please let me know as I definately want to go this route plus I want to install it myself.

hows everything working?
It's working fine, I just want to change my lines to steel braided. I'm weary of the pressure fittings. And I need another compressor.
humpty111 06-09-2004, 07:23 PM I have gotten mixed reviews about going with air bags. I like to have the option to raise or lower my XB whenever I want to but i don't want to compromise ride-a-bility with looks in other words i don't want to feel like I did when I rode around in my friends lowered pick up truck hell I felt like I was in one of those chocolate milk commercials (you know shake it up) but most of the negative comments come from people who don't even have air bags setup on their cars but they seem to know someone or first hand on how one would handle or ride. I want to first get my air brush done on my XB then I will decide if air bags are for me.....but hey thank you all for responding to my question it is deeply appreciated  another question though where would I mount the air tank????? :?: :?: :?:
kidkamel 06-09-2004, 07:33 PM The ride ability with air bags are better than coils. They just need to be setup right and also have the right amount of air in them. I had bags on my truck and I had a _____in setup. I was able to ride about 2" off the ground and it rode like a caddy. For a truck setup it just needs to be setup right. For a scion I'm not sure on it because I've never work with struts before.
Just think about it before you do anything just remember there are a lot of maintainence when having air ride suspension. The water trap, making sure not to blow a bag, cut in the air line, compressors not working, valves sticking, switch box acting up. All these things can happen. Also make sure the person installing it knows what they are doing.
One thing stay away from cylinders. They are quick but the ride is not as good as bags.

scion64racer 08-04-2004, 06:34 AM Im also bagging my xb right now. I didnt go with the eai equipment since i didnt hear anything good about them with other kits. Instead im using the front set up off a toyota matrix (little modification needed) and 2500 lb bags in the rear. Right now the car sits on the tires (18s) but should be done tomorrow. If i can figure out how to post pics here i will.
