Default Pics of installed Sylvania Silverstars (56k must die)

Nothing too amazing here... I thought I would post these because when I was considering to buy some silverstars I didn't really see many quality pics on the forums. I screwed up when I ordered them and these are actually the 9005 hibeam bulbs, so I chopped the plastic off and threw em in. These are pretty much temporary until this summer when I get money for some HID's. I got to drive on a dark road with no street lighting and I must say these are quite an upgrade... these are much brighter and the color is a lot more natural. You can tell a huge difference when looking at white lane markers\strips on a highway.

Left these pics full res so you can compare better.

Here's the stock tC bulbs on the left and the silverstar hibeam installed on the right

This one should be obvious but stock = right and silverstar = left

And here are some pics with both installed

come on guys. the pics are not that big, and it is nice to see detail of the silverstars for all the people who are interested in getting them.
Just get dual 19' monitor and you can see them fine with hydravision.
Fully expanded,
across both,
while decreasing the image size.

tried to be serious but couldn't resist.

You only got to do retro fits for certain HIDs. The Kaixen kits do NOT require a retro fit. They work perfectly out of the box. Best of all you don't need to adjust your headlights up or down.

good topic. I want some silverstars for under $100. Is this reasonable? I think HIDs are the way to go, but I need something cheaper in the meantime, and would like to give my tC a different look on the road until then. Thx

My Silver Stars only cost me $58. That's for both high/low beams.

That last wallshot you said both are installed. The passenger side still looks dimmer than driver side..?
