When I bought my tC last year, I didn't see many on the road. Now, I see at least 3-5 a day. So tell me, what do you do when you see another tC on the road?

I usually try to catch a glimpse of who's driving the car, hoping it's a hot chick. Anyways that's not the point. I feel odd trying to see who's in the car because if they're looking back (and you know you guys do!), I don't wanna make eye contact and feel like we're staring each other down or something. On the otherhand, it'd be odd to see me throw on a big fat smile and wave. Laugh if you know what I mean...

Yea, I'm stuck in traffic all day so I'm always tryin to catch a glimpse of the cars next to me, but don't want people to think I'm like staring or weird. haha

 

Don't see too many here... but I usually try to see if it's someone worth waving to.

 

I do the same thing.. the cool thing is that there are 2 really hot chicks that drive tCs that I always see on the road.

One of them will never even glance to the side, she just stares forward very serious-like.

The other one is cool, I talked to her an a stoplight once and she complimented my TV/DVD setup.

 

I try to wave. I find other tC owners are as personable as xB owners. Riding with my friend in his xA he waves as oethr A's and B's all the time, generally people wave back. I have yet to see a C wave to us in his car, or in mine.

 

i also take a glimpse at whos inside.
ive talked to many people, but never another tC owner.

its weird... i see about 3-5 a day also.

 

i see alot of them.. and i try to wave (at any scion, including xA's and xB's).. but most of them just continue on looking ahead as if nothing happened... then you run into older folks that drive scions, and yeah.. most of them will just ignore you... you get that alot up in norcal. much different culture down south.. i'll tell ya.

btw... where in san jose are you at? i'm up quimby rd. i might've seen your car before driving around.. you ever go out to the meets we have around here?

I usually pay all my attention on the road, never try to wave or doing anything strange.

I usually see 2-3 tc, 1-2 xA and 2-3 xB everyday

 

well here there is only like 4 or 5 of us tC owners "if that" so when i see one i blink and think omg is that really a tC and by the time i try and wave they are gone.. oh well at least I try and be nice ..hahahha

 

i buzz them with my muffler.

There aren't many tC's here yet, I've only seen about 5 different ones. I see one maybe once every 2 weeks. My boss' son drives one of them, and the rest were all driven by girls. I've only seen 2 xA's, one driven by a girl and then Mrs_Scion_XA's. I see xB's just about daily, mostly driven by older guys. I don't wave, but I'm always curious to see who else drives scions around here.

 

I honestly see so many everyday that it would be impossible to wave or do anything special. Not like its an odd car anymore, unfortunatly.

 

one time i passed these two chix in the tc

i merged into their lane after passing them and we hit a light

i started tapping my brake (sun was going down) so i could see the red light on their faces

then they started highbeaming me back haha it was fun

 

i see 5-7 parked ones on campus and probably 3 on the freeway and 5-7 local .. its all over the place!! :D

when i had my 94 celica. i remember people would leave little flyers on my windshield telling me to join their forums. we should have that for SL .. hahaha

Just kidding. If I can get their attention, I'll put out a friendly wave, pretty modest. I have formed a friendship with some guy who drives a Flint Mica on my road many mornings. I waved to him one day when I saw him on my drive to school, he didn't wave back probably because it didn't register-- now, we wave every time we see each other. I want to talk to him, since I can hear his non-stock exhaust.

 

You know it's weird, before I got my tC I would see a bunch of other tCs, but now that I have my tC I hardly see any while on the road. *shrugs* Feel free to wave if anybody sees me.

 

i tend to ignore most Scion owners, especially the tC ones.
just cuz most ppl in my area are dueches, so instead of waving they make u-turns and try to race me....gets annoying

 

Usually i just drive along normally, maybe try to see whos driving it. around here theres like 6 hot chicks that drive them, and like 1 or 2 guys.

one night on a main road in town i was just driving and minding my own business, when i saw some guy that just bought his NBM, in fact i was at the dealer when he was picking it up, and he saw me and started ricing around. ____ing loser.

 

Here in NYC the culture is a bit different. Looking at someone is a no no and waving will get you killed, lol.
