Looks like the coils will rub when settled. I would recommend some rubber spring wrap (though the manufacturer should have provided some...) to avoid creaking sounds.

yeah i have to find some for the kid, my teins came with some on em, but i dont know why his g-lines didnt

they would be fine without em wouldnt they? if not i can do it next week. could i use an alternative?

They would work fine without them, but they will creak every so often when stress it put on them. It gets really annoying when you hear the sound of metal cracking everytime a passenger gets in the back.

In the long term, the creaking will eventually rub out the powdercoating and expose the metal, which in turn can lead to rust.
