Default Fuses HELP Please

I just installed extra lights to brighten the interior of my xB. However I blew a fuse to the dome light. All the interior things went out(radio and lights).I've replaced the fuse under the hood BUT, now the dome light won't come on when I open the doors. It'll still go on if I switch it to "ON" but not if switch it to "DOOR"

Did I do do some irreversible damage? Can Someone PLEASE help me out?

Default yes

Yeah. The light turns on when you turn it to on but stays off when set to "Door" with the doors open.

Sounds like you shorted out the controller that controls the light to fade out when the door is closed.
I cant remember the thread but someone else on here did this also.

Expensive part for what it is.

make sure you check it after you lock the car then get back in....

i have mine set to doors and when the doors are open for a long time the dome turns off even if i close the door they re-open it...i have to start the engine or arm the alarm to reset the dome light....try that....but good luck!!!!
