its been rainning for the last couple of days in MD. i think the xB has poor visibility in the rain....anyway, i been trying to get the VSC to come on but without sucess.......
so my question is how hard did you drive your xB before the vsc gets involve?

VSC is always on (more than 9MPH). It works in mysterious ways. The Slid light (car with wiggly lines) comes when when you are skidding. Meaning, slow down! :D

i took an over pass (which was set to caution 35mph) at around 85mph... the tires made a little noise but i wasnt really understeering any... then the f***ing light came on and started beeping. Also happens when you do E-brake slides  not like it tried....or anything

well i driven cars with these type of saftey devices on(my M3 has DSC). but i think my xB has some kind of broken senors or wasn't driven hard enough :D .
i understeered the car really bad during the rain last night but nothing came on. So, i will take it to scion dealer when i get a chances.
thank guys for your inputs :D ,

i can get it to come on whenever i want....all i gotta do is punch it around a turn and get one of the front tires to spin faster then the rest.....each tire is monitored by a sensor in the spindle...the car reads the speed of each tire and corrects for it...if one tire spins faster/slower here come the lights.....most the time i drive with trac off....i dont like it trying to help me around corners when i know exactly what im trying to do....stupid thing corrects and screws me up....

from past experience...taking a turn too fast and the back end losing traction, there's a beep from somewhere in the cabin, blinking "squigly line" light, and the rear breaks pump and slow you do till you gain traction...weither you're WOT or not. it was quite startiling when the back breaks started to pump because i was completly ignorant about the VFC and what it did.
and from what i gather, traction controll on really works with the front wheels because i had theTC turned off when the above event happend.
