wow, a steal at $.06!!! But yes, 9006 are for lows, 9005 are for highs. A quick search would have answered your question, but im in a good mood today.

They should at least be compatible... as for quality and life and such, who knows.

9.99 shipping, 5.00 insurance. that's still a $15.00 pair of hyper white bulbs ... so they claim.

^^ The price for the bulb is not .06. They say that to draw people in. Then charge the full price of the bulb for shipping and handling. So they are a cheap $10 pair of bulbs. Shipping companies include $100 worth of insurance for free. The $5.00 was for the shipping (and not all of that was most likely needed). So he probably paid more than $10 for the bulbs.

^ I don't think the USPS covers anything in shipping by default, but their up to $50 insurance is only like $1.40 or something anyways. :)

I think it depends on how fast they ship, I know that express is covered by $100 default, but you may be right about the regular shipping. But like you said, the insurance is cheap either way. Ya, and those are the people I won't do business with on eBay. I have certain expectations and limits for shipping prices. If something is heavy, I can live with higher shipping... but if someone is asking for over $5 to ship a DVD and it's not overnight, I won't touch it.

Careful with those bulbs. I know what it says, but that is a much high watt draw that the tC is meant to handle. - replacing the harnesses for extra protection could do you well, but just be careful especially if using them on stock harnesses.

it looks like it says 170W! thats alot for the stocker to handle! you might wanna be carefull? i have luminics and i also have the wire harness and it works great for me (knocking on wood).

170W. I would watch out for that. Ask anyone on this forum that has Luminetics without the harncess. The higher watts could and will melt the oem harness.

I wouldnt touch them with a 10 foot pole. They are either cheap ripoffs, or if they really are 170w bulbs say bye bye to your harness

if u want a good bulb without crossing into the HID world. silverstars are your friends, and wont hurt your harness

awwwww man. be careful with those. a friend of mines had that same set and they are made so cheap the glass on them cracks and shatters. my friend's set had cracked inside the housing and man it was an ___ to take out and clean. but just his luck maybe. o yeah it worked for a week lol

Those bulbs are 100W. The 170W is just what they say they can produce (as in looks). Yet it says 100W draw. Having some experience with these, the manufacturer says that these bulbs are wire protected. Lastly, for those of you who want a physics background - plug it into the formula. The current is either not changing or actually going down as the wattage raises therefore making it unlikely for the harnesses or lens to be damaged. Yet like others said, it is playing it safe with the special harnesses - most people just don't feel like dealing with wires to swap out headlights.

Other point:
It's one thing to use the bulbs that are 100W as high beams, but another to have 9006 100W. Most people don't leave the high beams on for so long, so they don't have to opportunity to get so hot. The low beams remain on any time after 7:30PM! Hope that helps!
