Default Following in Footsteps Painted Calipers - WHITE! (56k Warn)

Well after reading the awesome write up by fellow Juice magazine superstar THansenite (https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...306&highlight=) on how to paint calipers, and on the advise of the great one known as Reese. I decided to tackle painting the calipers on my SW.....white!!

I will not go into the prep work as THansenite did an outstanding job already at covering that. The kit I used was the G2 caliper kit I got from Tirerack. This kit is a little different, the kit comes with the paint and a bottle of activator. Once you add the activator to the paint you only have 4-6 hours to use all of the paint before you can no longer use it anymore. The paint in this kit is a little different it acutally hardens and creates a nice shiny very durable finish, as a matter of fact this kit comes with a %100 product guarantee!

Here are the results!!

Prepped Front Rotor!

Car in the Air

Second and Third Coats, at this stage I was a little concerned that the paint was going to dry a little dull, but after the paint cures and hardens, and sets for the instructed 24 hours it produced a nice shiny hard finish!!

Looks good, but with those wheels it will be a nightmare to clean them. Nice rotors as well.

LOL, from one Juice superstar to another...nice job. I will have to take a look at the show this weekend to see how they really look. I am interested to see how the finish differs from the Duplicolor kit I used. Looks hot.
