Can you believe that a dealership in Redmond is selling a 2005 stock tC for 19,995?

Very common for tCs... once they're used, Pure Price means nothing and dealers are jacking them up.

 

Then again... I just priced my 05 with 20k miles and kbb.com says it's STILL just under $20k for Suggested Retail. Even Private Party is still over $17k.

 

yeah no kidding. i want to pick up a box with about 20k or so on it, but i cant find one for under $15.. i want to spend like $10 :/

 

If you go to Cali you can get one fairly cheap........atleast from what i hear.....

This is stock though.....except alarm which cost roughly $200 new.....

I booked it out and retail is about 19,500.......OMG......only Toyotas are worth more with miles than without.....

 

If you take a look at AutoTrader. I've seen my BSP Tc going for $20,995 - that's without spolier, TRD, foglights - etc...

..in Ohio , Kentucky & Indiana , used Scions go for close to retail at most auctions .
..guess its the supply & demand thing .
..some folks want it now and won't wait for new .

 

yea it is crazy, I looked at a pretty much stock xB '05 with 30,000 miles! at Bob Bridge. It was going for about $15,500, I have an '05 xB with less than 10,000 miles and about $2,000 in accessories on it and the blue book value as a trade in was like $13,000. I don't see how a stock car with 30,000 miles on it can be more than a brand new stock car. But I'm not complaining, because if I ever go to sell mine, I will get good money for it.

 

If I didn't love my car so much - I would totally sell it, then wait for a brand new one. But I would probably go thru 3 months of depression while waiting for the new one!

 

I know what you are talking about......if I sold mine, I would make money AFTER paying it off.......then good a brand new one.......

 

i bought mine from my work..used 05 with an intake on it....they wanted 20500....heh but i got it for 15800, employee discount ROCKS!

 

I didn't get no dang discount.....stupid covenent.....I worked there too............

 

heh...thats too bad.

 

Oh well.......I did not have to wait though so hey......it was worth it.....
