How to jack up a lowered car?
So I get my Eibach sportlines on lower the jack and remove the jack. The next day I try to jack up the car. The jack will not fit under the car (springs settling). Turn the jack sideways and back up after it is under the front jack position. I connect the crank to the jack and proceed to turn it. The crank will not go vertical because it hits the bumper and the ground before I can turn it over. I got it lifted by using a floor jack and the factory jack with some tricky maneuvering. What in gods name do I do if I get a flat on the road?
I can get it under the sides but that's not the best location to put the jack. If push come to shove I would.
I will design a wedge, yes a wedge.
It will go under the tires.
Made of wood, yes wood.
It will be light an cheap.
I will call it the wedgie
everyone will buy one from me and I will be rich, rich I tell yas.

wow.. how low are the Eibach's? I have fully settled S-Tech's on my car and i don't have any issues with getting the OEM jack under the car (a floor jack though... well, we're not going to talk about that).
get rid of the Eibach's and go get a custom airbag setup put in. problem solved!

Can't take a circle on ramp at 80 with air bags. I have 4 inch clearance in the front from bumper to road. The back is alot taller almost disapointed with the rear. I will post a new pic around 8.15 under my profile. The sad thing is it has only two days to settle.
The recommended jacking points for the OEM jack are actually the sides... if you check your side skirts, there are little arrows that indicate where to put it. I'd call that the best location for THAT jack.
Get some wood, and cut it into a large enough size to drive on top of it (but not too large), than once ur ride is elevated, jack it up (don't forget to place the wood under the tires once ur done otherwise u'd be stuck @ square 1).
Good Luck

It doesn't help on the side of the road but I bought an aluminum racing jack to work on my lowered XB at home. If you have a Harbor Freight nearby they are less than $100 and I've seen them on sale fairly often for around $80. I love mine and I've even seen a pro with one so the quality is there.
