View Full Version : Is it just me or is the Black Cherry the sweetest color? goofygrin 06-08-2004, 03:45 AM I mean... this picture is just sweet! http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/busnumberone/detail?.dir=/74c7&.dnm=8809.jpg scionracerxb 06-08-2004, 03:50 AM its nice, but its a b***h to take care of. it definately seems like more of an elegant color than some of the others. CuPoJava 06-08-2004, 03:50 AM That's really classy ;) I wish I were back in my school's city so I could put down a deposit at the local dealership :/ CuPoJava 06-08-2004, 03:53 AM http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/busnumberone/detail?.dir=/74c7&.dnm=4ac9.jpg&.src=ph Is that Flint? *drooool* tC_Me_Baby 06-08-2004, 03:54 AM http://pics.atofftopic.com/Images/NFS4/36_scion_tc.jpg http://pics.atofftopic.com/Images/NFS4/35_scion_tc.jpg tC_Me_Baby 06-08-2004, 03:58 AM This has gotta be a b!tch to clean: http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/busnumberone/detail?.dir=/74c7&.dnm=821b.jpg DuMa 06-08-2004, 04:01 AM the good thing is that thats not the only color thats sweet.... the bad thing is deciding which color is the best i cant decide over black sand pearl or flint mica or super white or silver streak mica or indigo ink pearl or black cherry red :( i have however decided that im not gonna get the azure pearl. goofygrin 06-08-2004, 04:06 AM its nice, but its a b***h to take care of. it definately seems like more of an elegant color than some of the others. one word: Zaino. yhsu1 06-08-2004, 04:26 AM damn, the 19" on the black tC looks delicious!!! UCSDPinoy 06-08-2004, 05:08 AM its nice, but its a b***h to take care of. it definately seems like more of an elegant color than some of the others. one word: Zaino. Zaino is just a polish and not a wax correct? so it will not really protect it. Or at least that's what i thought :P Going to check out Zymol :?: Superinc_tC 06-08-2004, 05:59 AM its a win - win situation, the tC just has some sexy curves. its like beautiful woman she look good in any dress. djimpak 06-08-2004, 08:25 AM the good thing is that thats not the only color thats sweet.... the bad thing is deciding which color is the best i cant decide over black sand pearl or flint mica or super white or silver streak mica or indigo ink pearl or black cherry red :( i have however decided that im not gonna get the azure pearl. ditto on this one. first it was flint mica and black sand pearl... now its those 2 plus black cherry pearl and indigo ink. goofygrin 06-08-2004, 11:08 AM its nice, but its a b***h to take care of. it definately seems like more of an elegant color than some of the others. one word: Zaino. Zaino is just a polish and not a wax correct? so it will not really protect it. Or at least that's what i thought :P Going to check out Zymol :?: eh, wrong. Its a protectant that lasts until you strip it off. WAY better than zymol, mothers, etc. (IMHO, and a lot of other netizens) Alucard095 06-08-2004, 11:18 AM OMG does that flint mica with those rims look heavenly. I think I would sleep in that car! Undecided_Fate 06-08-2004, 12:41 PM personally... i think the only car thats always gonna look clean even when it isnt is silver. flint may be the same story.... i dont know from experience on that one though i want indigo cuz ive always wanted a blue car :p after owning a white car.... no other color could possibly be as bad :p goofygrin 06-08-2004, 12:51 PM personally... i think the only car thats always gonna look clean even when it isnt is silver. flint may be the same story.... i dont know from experience on that one though i want indigo cuz ive always wanted a blue car :p after owning a white car.... no other color could possibly be as bad :p My truck is Silver. I can go a *long* time between washes because it hides the dirt so well :) (unless its like mud or something). ConnerrySE01 06-08-2004, 05:49 PM About the only color I've seen that doesn't appeal to me is the Azure Blue. Fully diggin' the Black Cherry Pearl, the Flint Mica and Indigo blue. Haven't seen a real pic of the Black yet, but as Confucius once said, "when in doubt, fu..." (oh, wait) sorry...."when in doubt, go Black..." TwiztedTC 06-08-2004, 05:51 PM i love that color but after owning a black car for 2 yrs ill never own a dark colored car again.... thats why im going with super white.... Taking care of a dark colored car? zizi 06-08-2004, 06:15 PM I have a black 2003 Civic EX coupe. I stopped washing it because every time I washed and detailed it, it got vandalized. Now that it has not been washed in like 5 months noone messes with it. hjane42 06-08-2004, 07:55 PM I completely agree. I was doubtful about the black cherry pearl (which I ordered months ago) UNTIL I saw these real pics! Now I'm so excited and pleased with my decision! As for taking care of the color, I guess I'll just have to put more time into it. Because when it's clean, it's so damn sweet! I just can't decide to go for one of the two spoilers or go spoiler-less??? Help me out, I don't know what to do! djimpak 06-08-2004, 08:13 PM I just can't decide to go for one of the two spoilers or go spoiler-less??? Help me out, I don't know what to do! so what do you want? super clean, clean or semi clean? super clean, go spoiler-less clean, go with the lip spoiler semi clean, go with the other spoiler. thats just me though, i perfer spoiler-less Toy_xbox 06-08-2004, 08:28 PM BCP was what sold me on my xB and I think what won me a trophy at Nisei week last year... :D http://www.autoimportcraze.com/images/toyotafest04/cl116.jpg tC_Me_Baby 06-08-2004, 09:31 PM BCP was what sold me on my xB and I think what won me a trophy at Nisei week last year... :D http://www.autoimportcraze.com/images/toyotafest04/cl116.jpg Good lord. Ride quality must be terrible with that thing  iZero 06-08-2004, 09:38 PM It'll look alright until you drive it 10 miles, or it rains, or drive through a puddle, etc. Then it will look like a black car with dirt all over it. Toy_xbox 06-08-2004, 09:53 PM Good lord. Ride quality must be terrible with that thing  Actually with the TRD/Waydo strut and spring set it handled quite well, I did however have to constantly scan the street for holes. I am currently upgrading to HKS Hipermax WG coilovers with Hotchkis sway bars and Cusco frame brace. Hopefully I won't lose to much comfort with the upgrade  erc21 06-08-2004, 10:54 PM Not a fan of the xA or xB at all, but the features on the tC are unmatched on the market right now for the price. I'm currently still saving a little more for a down payment, but am getting ready to put a deposit down later this month after checking my credit (co-signer vs. no co-signer). I'm planning to get the Black Cherry color as well. If it holds up to Toyota's reliability, I'm going to be very happy after I get mine :D . Katoes 10-15-2007, 04:25 AM The blackcheery does look perrty sweet. BurntClutch 10-15-2007, 12:28 PM Thanks for the massive topic bump. But, IMO nothing looks better than a black (or other dark colored car) when they're clean. a BSP with a shine is B E A U tiful!!!!! tC_Normo 10-18-2007, 04:16 PM wow talk about reviving a topic from the dead! this topic came out months before the tC got released! |
