Okay, I'll be ordering Sport Max 002 in 2 weeks. I'm purchasing the 15x8 (0 ET)

I've done a search but just wanted to double check so I can buy everything before putting them on.

Since the xB is daily driven by my girlfriend, I really can't run that low of a drop, so I'll be dropping it on Tein S-Techs soon.

Will I have issues rubbing if I were to run a 205/50/15.

Considering I'm not dropping too low, will fender flares need to be mandatory? Or could I wait later to get those?

One more question, are the OTG spacers for the rear required when I put the wheels on? or could I just mount the 002s without the spacers?

Im just being impatient so once I get the wheels, I wanted to put them on only if I dont need the flares or the spacers.

running 205/50/15.
i'm on coils, so i rub on dips/bumps.

i left my OTG's from
my previous wheels. looks
flush with the front with them on.

with these rims your going to have rubbing issues as long as you are lowered... you dont need spacers but they even out how the rear sticks out with the front. flares will be needed but depends on where you live... its iligal here in CA to have wheels sticking out... still waiting for mine... for the tires youre good with 205/50/15 thats what i have with mine and its a nice stretch, i think its perfect size

i rub real bad with my 15x8 on the passenger side rear with +13 offset and 205/55's. i'm on DF210s though.

i've seen an xb with my rims but with 0 offset in the rear. they were sticking out too far i thought it looked a little stupid with no flares.

it does look funny... it seems like the car is missing something

Man, I live in Cali too, I guess I have to buy the flares too then. Well I'll take my chance without them on. I've had friends with their ugly lowrider setups go for years without getting in trouble with the cops. There wheels literally stuck out a lot yet never had a warning or ticket. I'll just ride it out until Im able to get the flares.

THanks for the suggestions replies guys!

Haha understandable. I'll take my chances for now. Me and my girl hardly drive the xB anyways so hopefully it's safe until then.

it's not really a zero offset damn otg's gotta remove them waiting for a certain companies flares to come out...still debating......really +10 and it's +25 in the front and it needs to go lower ....parked behind you today nice camber...i'm looking for coilovers..though....see you around the shipyard....lol

fender flares and fender-cutting is what I would recommend.

Man, someone really needs to make a Sportmax 002 Sticky.

Seems like these threads are getting pretty common. :?

I just got the 002's like a week ago. Had some rubbing issues on bumps. Today, I had my fenders rolled. No more rubbing issues! I haven't tried it with passengers in the back, though.

when you say fender cut. do you mean the same as fender stripping?

so it envolves cutting out the fender wall?
