May be getting news on xA RS 3.0
Hello all,
I never really introduced myself before posting, so I guess now would be the appropriate time. I work at a Toyota/Scion dealership in the service department, and I am a very friendly guy and hope to become a regular part of this forum.
I am in the process of getting an xA, so today I went to go chat with the Scion sales manager. I am waiting to buy my xA until the RS 3.0 because I am very interested to see what the color is going to be, and would certainly be kicking myself if I bought one and then a month later the 3.0 comes out as some sweet color. We mostly talked about price related details, but then I started prying a bit about the next xA release series. He let me know that he had no details at all about what was going to be included in the next release series, but kept saying it was going to be awesome. So, either a.) he already knows what the next release series is going to have to offer or b.) he knows Scion well enough to know that they made a mistake with the RS 2.0 and want to make the RS 3.0 kick ___. He also told me that he was going to be calling Scion tomorrow afternoon and see if they would give him any info on the 3.0. Hopefully Scion will give him some details, and I'll let you guys know as soon as I do!

^^^ well put. Also on a side note, the RS Scions this year are fairly lame so far with the exception of the xB almost. I assume they will continue being lame for the xA RS. If youre into slate blue you might like the xA RS for 2006. Other than that youre buddy wont hear anything about the release package if he could even find out that much...

Meh the dealer knows nothing, he's pulling your leg, no info is to be released early.
I think maybe they're saying you wont recognioze it because it's being replaced in 2007 or 2008 model years.

But yeah... the RS3 xA is either going to REALLY, REALLY, REALLY awesome (not likely) or it's going to be lame...Either way, I already have an xA. I honestly don't care what they do with the new RS.

I'm assuming the xA will still be around as a 2007 model and probably be changing in 2008? Anyone care to shed some light on that? Anyways if it is another shade of blue, thats pretty disappointing of scion. But being a blue kind of a guy...if it's a really nice blue. imma love it.

We were going to get an BSP xA next month, but little info I found/learned, we are waiting for RS3.0 xA now!!! I'm driving the xA and my hubby is taking my xB. I will say, RS3.0 xA, will be geared towards woman mainly. I'm excited and getting sick of waiting already, probably no announcement till end of June. Worse thing w/ the RS3.0's coming out, it marks the end of "that" body style. 2008 will be wild year for Scions!
