Hey guys,

I have a quick question. I did a search but didn't find anything. I haven't purchased my xB yet.. but i was wondering for you manual guys..

Where is your RPM's at when cursing around 80 to 85 mph??? in fith gear of course???

i jsut was doing 80-90 driving to ames ia i was at 4000 on a fresh oil change. are u puting any upgrades like cai & exaust?

I will be doing some mods... but i dont think I will do a CAI.. I would probaby do a K&N drop in and maybe a exhaust...

Mods that I will be doing for sure is Coilovers.. Sway ans strut bars... Kenstyle lip kit.. wheels and system.

I'm using this car as a daily driver so im trying to not do anything engine wise that will decrease the overall performance and reliability of the car...

6100 i believe. Its hard to get used to the high RPM's though.

60mph = 3000rpm, 80mph = 4000rpm, 100mph = 5000rpm

It's hard to get used to... but after a few months you don't notice it anymore

Yup - It does rev higher at high speeds than the four 1.8 to 2.0 Corollas and Proteges I've had in the past but unless you're going up a hill, it sails smoothly at high speeds withouit a problem
