I was wondering if anyone has the megan OEM style exhaust with any type of aftermarket header/s-pipe? I know it sounds good with the stock header but what about when you add an aftermarket header?

I don't mind if it's loud, I just don't want something raspy.

I want to make sure it sounds alright before I spend close to $400..

If you have aftermarket header/s-pipe and an axle back, you're probably going to have rasp unless you have a resonator or two.

This exhaust has 2 resonators.

Yeah, the main resonator looks pretty large also.

I'm doing it. I love the way the Megan exhausts sounds, and even though I know it will change with the Alphawerks headers I'm gonna put on, it's still a nice growl to build around.

i don't even know if its out yet. i know theres someone on the forum who has a prototype and a huge post goin, you could try there.

It's suppose to be available in about 1-2 weeks. A few places are selling it now.

do you know the few places that are selling this exhaust? i would like to get it as soon as possible.

I just looked around and I couldn't find any.. All of them are pre-order.

Oh well i was hoping on ordering it this weekend. So i can have it when my car comes out of the paint shop.

What color are you getting it painted?

same they crashed me about a month after i got the car and when i got it back about 2 weeks ago i noticed that there was over spray on the front fender and hood. so im making them paint my entire car so it can be evenly matched paint job. not a darker or lighter spot than the other. i was thinking of asking them to paint it blue since its so hard to come across.

I am still waiting for this exhaust to come out. Has anyone heard any new news on when this exhaust will finally hit the market?

And entirely true... my MR2 Turbo had the best sounding exhaust I have heard on any car to date... I used to drop the tops and just spend all day driving around. That and the HKS SS blow off at 16psi is about the only thing I miss about that car... hehe.

im gonna drive to naples (about a 2hr drive), looking like a dog. driving with my head out the window just to hear this puppy. also i hope to get the s-pipe and install the headers back to see wat it can really do.

It should sound wonderful with the Megan header and s-pipe.

well i hope thats the case but with a little umph in it. if it is then it will sound beautiful with the header n s-pipe. no matter wat it sounds like, i know it will sound great.

Why does it say "No more headers" in your signature?

i took them off cuz i had to take the car in for repairs and didnt want them to say anything about it. after i uninstalled them some one gave me a good offer that i couldnt refuse, my megan headers for his Brand New 1000/1 Slash Amp. couldnt refuse and did the trade.
