Which wideband are you using, the AEM or Innovate? I can't decide on which one to get. I want it to datalog.

 

do you really plan on using the datalog function....honestly?

I am using the Tech Edge WBo2 3B1 Wideband Unit and the LA1 Display. I installed it about a month ago and it's been great; very accurate, easy to read, and single button onboard logging. As soon as I get a notebook I'll start playing with the logging features.

I really like the plx, but I think it's the R500 that datalogs? And I believe it has a wireless adapter for your laptop.

 

I just got a Tech Edge (www.wbo2.com) 2A1 with can data log. I like it a lot because I can get a replacement o2 sensor for like 48$ shipped from a VW parts site and it will plug right in. I should be getting an o2 bung welded to my s-pipe soon.

does the placement of the bung affect the ratio ?

 

Its recomemnded 18" from turbo. But I have dyno'd with a wideband strap'd to my muffer and it gave the same results as my datalog'd PLX on my laptop.

 

same here, on all my dyno they'd put it on the rear muffler.

the plx has a feature to replace the stock narrowband, did you try to use it ?

i like the plx because its different. i dont like butt load of gauges on my car like an airplane.

 

Exactly, I love the black box, gonna try and mount it on my steering column, where you have your boost gauge.

thats going to be tough since it isnt a flat surface, if i do get the PLX il just mount it under the cubby hole since i would only use it when tuning the car.
