Default Exhuast Question for tC

I am a former VW guy, had a 1.8t jetta before I got my Tundra, and now I have a Flint Mica TC.

The VW forums were full of dynos and sound clips for the 1.8t motor, and I have not been able to find as many resources for the tC. I was looking for something with the sound of the TRD exhaust, but I would prefer atleast a cat-back, or an exhuast that replaces the stock cat, with a high-flow cat. I would definatly go with brullen exhaust, but they don't make an exhuast for the tC, but they are nice (100% SS). If anyone knows of an exhuast that had a deep and throaty sound, doesn't lose torque and increases HP, let me know.

Thanks,

Nick

Start by looking here: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=103820

Its one of the stickys at the top of the page and has a variety of exhaust/header video clips.

I don't expect hp per $ gains like I got on my Jetta, but i would like something other than stock, not too loud, but not so queit you can't tell it is there. I am leaning toward magnaflow, or maybe replacing everything from the S-pipe back, I just want to due more research, find more dynos, b/c I do not want to sacrafice low end torque for high end hp that I will rarely use. I may just go FI, and do no other mods right now, ( no sound, intake, exhaust, no anything )It may be cheaper....

I got the Precision Muffler Axle Back. PrecisionMuffler.com . For the price of the TRD Exhaust I was able to get the PM Axle Back AND get my TRD Lowering Springs installed. Gabe is top-notch! The PM Axle has a nice low growl to it. It was perfect for me! The TRD Exhaust is rather loud IMHO. I just wanted something beefier than stock and found it with the PM Exhaust.
