Default Fender Flares? Yay or Nay?

alright, so back in october/november some fool had a run in with my car and didnt decide to leave a note(hit and run).. so what i want to do is put fender flares on my car because the damage is to the rear quarter panel, and these will cover up all of the damage(most at least) making it very cheap for me...

so i just wanted some opinions to see how you all like it and what not.

i will put spacers on the wheels of course.. so the wheels sit flush kinda, and the car will be lowered 2.5 inches all around..

heres my car:

and heres some pics of cars w/ the fender flares...also if you have pics or know someone with these please post up.

Those flares don’t allow you to run much wider/lower offset wheels since they taper into the fender well. If you push out the wheels the tires will rub against the inside of the flare. You could trim them for clearance, but that area is used to mount the flare. I checked these out on Jeff’s car carefully since I was seriously considering them, but you cant be slammed on wider wheels with them.

i know all that HK... its jus that i can afford to push my wheels out a little, right now they are 7.5 +42, so i can push them out about 5mm more.. since that is the smallest hub centric spacer. i dont wanna go 15mm because thats WAY TOO MUCH..

Seen 'em once in real life, wasn't a fan. Definitely negatory on that one.

its one of those things that will bug you when you do something

taking off the front bumper!

not compatible with mud guards

does it even work with the OEM kit.

just ditch the idea and spend it on something else.

ya so its a bit more than just a scratch, and by 1/4 panel, i mean everything behind the passenger door.

the rest can be fixed easily and repainted...but the parts along the arch we have on top of the wheel well(not sure what its called) takes ALOT of labor which is really expensive on my part

its definately the pics... its B-A-D

i guess i should prolly do it the right way.. cuz i really like the TURY's front bumper, and that is basically why i made this thread

i cant get the body kit if i have these, but im still not sure

my friend has had these on this car, and they looked sweet, almost made the car look better than stock.
