Has anyone seen this or heard anything about HKS Racing Suction Kit intake, I just saw it as a new item for the tC at house of scion. I looked on HKSUSA and they dont even have one listed for the tC. Just wondering if this is a new competitor in the intake options for the tC

heh.... the HKS would not just be another competitor... it would be the only other company you should consider besides k&n for your intake....and i fyou dont know anything about HKS...i consider doing a little research and you'll see what i mean

they guy at house of scion told me about it when i was ordering my exhaust last week, i was just hoping someone had it and could give their opinion of it.

It was mentioned somewhere else too... I still think the one in the box looks like a POS - HKS or not. Looks just like 50 of the generic eBay intakes. Now the one in the BCP pic looks like a decent intake.

 

I dont think I would buy it though..

There might be a reason on that though. Most people are pretty skeptical. Who knows though...

 

i ordered this intake..hks quality is amazing ..i will let you guys know how it works..

 

They installed the inake on the S/C in the this months Super Street, 5hp Dyno Proven Gain.

 

no intake on n/a is going to give you a ton of power..its more for looks and sound..you have pics or a link to that car??

 

Uploaded it, its in Super Street July Issue, they dyno'd it for a 5hp gain.

hmmm..i was told its a short ram can't really tell from the pic but i might pic up the mag to check it out more...

 

Its just basically a cold air extension piece, that uses the stock intake portion.

 

thats what i was thinking..should take all of 20 mins to install...ill let you guys know how sound is..
