Got my first compliment today driving home!
I was just around the corner to my house when two ladies, who were about to cross the street, stopped and stared at my car and said "Nice car!" It was short but I was glad my car had impressed someone.
Earlier that day, I was at a stop sign next to the new Lexus IS250, and the guy looked over and stared at my car and gave me a nod and said "Is that a new Lexus?" And I said, "No, not even close to being a Lexus." He said, "Nice car nonetheless!" Then we drove off...
Anyways, just wanna share my experience with you guys.

I've gotten a few compliments about my RS 2.0, but the biggest one came a few days ago on my way to a car wash. I was being paced by a Lamborghini Murcielago and the driver was looking hard at my ride... it was rapper/producer Missy Elliot. She gave me a smile and a nod as she cruised past me. Not bad when you can catch the attention of someone who owns a few six-figure priced cars.

My bro lives in Burbank. I visit him quite a bit. One time we were at OSH and we saw Robert "T-1000" Patrick there. Cool! 
Just wait until you get the "Is that one of those Toyota Prius?" comments. I got a lot of those from old peeps at the gas stations.

Oh man, this happened to me twice a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't believe it. I was pulling out of a gas station and this kid sitting in his car next to me almost got whiplash turning his head and yelled. "Hot car man!"
Again with a friend at an intersection. This guy in a domestic with racing stickers all over it was just FIXATED on the scion. He finally said. "Hey man, that car is SWEET! what kind is it?" My buddy in a chipper Disney-esque voice was like "Its a SCION!"
I get people at fast food joints looking at it all the time. If I pull in for a drink or something I will be paying at one window and there will be people leaning out the other gawking at the car.
I honestly haven't figured out a way to acknowledge this without coming across as pompous.. after all, Im very PROUD of the fact the car looks so good!

I actually got my very first compliment a few days ago. I was at my work site right when I parked, ready to go into work when I spotted an old white man walking towards me. I was getting something from my trunk and he came up to me and he was like .."man that's a nice car, what kind of car is that?" I said.."a scion, it's a toyota" he was like "oh really?" and he didn't stop there.
He asked me questions like how much it was and what color it was. he was amazed at how good the paint looked. He couldn't even describe it, if it was blue or green or gray (GO FM!) He had to really look closely and stare at my car. Haha then I told him some of the standard features that came in the 16k car. Like the standard rims, four wheel brakes, the social seats, the toyota engine, the steering wheel controls, the panoramic sunroof, the standard mp3 jack etc.
He was soo amazed. He was walking around the car staring at it, looking at every detail and was just in awe in how good it looked. The last thing he said was.."well im 61 going on 62, do they come in automatic?" I said "they sure do" he was like..okay i'm getting one this weekend. =)
He asked me questions like how much it was and what color it was. he was amazed at how good the paint looked. He couldn't even describe it, if it was blue or green or gray (GO FM!) A year back or so I used to get a lot more compliments about the car, they're everywhere now! I remember being 1 of 2 or 3 in town with a tC, that was awesome too. Still love the tC, it can still get turning heads.
