Hey all. Once again I need volunteers for our(rain or shine) fundraiser on 05/21/06 from 10am to 5pm. You don't have to be there the whole time, but I would like to see most of us there. This is going to help out with our events that we have planned this year and some we don't have planned yet. The more help, the more cars and that leads to more money.
Those of us that went last time remember how much fun we had. I'm looking forward to doing this again. So, post up, I need to make sure we have enough peeps for this. No "maybe's", if you don't know, wait til you do know. Thanks...

I know this is for donations only... but may wanna put a sign out this time saying full size trucks/suv's cost a minimum amount....lol... didnt last time some1 with a huge truck rolled thru and only paid/donated like $2??

Not like Silverdale is all that close to Seattle, (or that SE would have much interest...I'd imagine...) but Great Strides is this same day and there will be a strong presence of Scion owners as well as Kelly and Melissa reppin the Portland region of Scion.

Lots of Scion goodies, music, a bbq and a walk around downtown Seattle for a GREAT cause.

So, if you'd like to, all are welcome (of course regardless of clubs!)




... Just mentioning another option for that day that's been posted on this board for about 6-7 months now. :)

My son is required to perform community service for one of his classes.
I wonder if this would qualify or how I would make this qualify.

I think all we need to do is sign a form saying what he did for the community.

Jason, I will try and be there after church. I have been working like crazy to get my motorhome ready for our cross country trip in a few weeks. That and Karen being pregnant is why I have been MIA lately.

Do you have some specific plans for the money? (food bank, trophies, ect.)

This was by far the weakest carwash ever!!! :rofl: Not including our own cars, we washed 4cars. Three of which were friends or family of mine. ONLY one person drove in off of the street. :rofl: :doh:

But, it was not a total loss of a day. We did manage to put a short ram intake in and we did have a little bbq after. Even though the charcoal did not want to cooperate at first :P

sorry i didn't show. i was down in olympia recovering from guys night out.

I doubt that me showing up earlier than I did would've helped any (sorry about that!), but with the oncoming light rain that we had later in the day, it was kind of a given that we wouldn't have too much of a turnout. I donated though! =D

I'm sure when it gets hotter, we'll definitely be raking in some more money for the club with these. Maybe even once a month?
