:( sorry to hear that :( getting keyed/vandalized is my #1 fear about my xb and i am paranoid about it every time i park. hearing about these stories makes me so angry that if i ever catch someone keying ANYONE'S car, i will beat the living ____ out of them. i really hope you find out who did it.
to cover the scratch, i've read on here that you should get touch-up paint as well as a glob remover kit from your toyota dealer. i hope that helps.

This is what I would do:
1. Try the Maguiars Scratch-X Its less than 10 bucks, and buff the hell out of it.
If one didnt work i would go with number two:
2. Go to a paint shop and ask if I could colorsand and clear the door to get rid of the mark(s). This will be a bit pricey but I WOULD DO THIS SINCE IM A PERFECTIONIST!
and dont forget:
3. Get a sentry gun to peotect your car!
Seriously I'm sorry to hear what happened! good luck!

it looks deep as hell to me. scion paint isn't very thick in the first place. i like the other guy am a perfectionist and would just get it painted b/c it would never satisfy me.

Mean people suck. Did you report it to the building manager? I wonder if any other cars have been keyed besides yours...

yeah i dont think wax and buffing will satisfy me on this one , but about our building manager, he's an ___ , security cameras in the parking lot dont even work and cars have been keyed here in the past from other co-workers' experiences....will insurance cover this up??

First rule of thumb is if you can feel it with your fingernail it will not buff out. You can always make a vandalism claim with your insurance and it should be handled as a comprehensive claim and won't count against you.
