So the final answer is... An antenna? I've heard about things that go in your glove box, is that what you're talking about, or the ones you mount near the back spoiler area? Sorry to be such a rookie with all this and asking all these questions. The Sportster didn't come with antenna because I got it on eBay.. I went to radio shack and got one of those mini-to-mini plugs so I'm set with that as well. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Sportster and antenna... hmm. You are either talking sattelite radio or a harley-davidson motorcycle. I'm guessing radio. I'm thinking you hit "new topic" rather than "post reply". As for an antenna designed for the Sportster sattelite radio receiver, yes... you will need one for your car. I would mount the antenna on the top of the box near the back window.

 

Guys it's from another thread, he messed up and did a new topic instead of post reply. Yes the antenna needs to go on the roof or spoiler for the best signal, and you can get an antenna at a CC or BB, for around $26.
