I'm so close to being done but I'm holding back to tweak a couple things so its near perfect. Just another week of nights and back into the oven!

I need to trim a couple more mm from the shroud for adjustment and snug up the ABS plate that hides the guts.
Whatcha think so far?



************** New info 5/31/06 **************

Well I had them on the car for about a week and snapped some pics. But discovered soon that neither superglue nor model cement will keep the rings on tight. So they're back on the living room floor for a night or two while I try rear view mirror cement instead. Also I need to bring the passenger projector in toward the center a bit while I have them apart, so no long distance cutoff pics yet.

The only things I did differently are:
- shortened mounting springs to allow clearance for cosmetic ABS plate
- shroud is part stainless steel mug from Target and part aluminum nut from an old TSW wheel that was milled to fit the projector.

Nope, thats another difference I suppose, I used Bosch projectors.

That's just plain sick! Serious creativity with the shroud. I see you splurged on the angel eyes. I wanted to complete my retro with them but decided to wait to see if the price would come down. Its now up 10$ from when I almost bought them. Still deciding if there worth the cash. Can't wait to see your final results.

 

Oh, almost forgot. Did you go e46 bixenn or single. If single did you go ece. I went with valeos but owned a pair of e46 ece to play with. As far as coloe, I think its the best bang for your buck. I still have a pic of it in my avator.
