I'm running Silverstars and happy with them. But when the shipment for these HALO bulbs come to the dealer im switching them. The Halos seem much brighter and whiter. I'll update when i get them with pics.

Ok for the Sylvania Silverstars-which model bulbs do you need? 9006 for the low and 9005 for the high correct?

Also what is a HALO bulb?

Silverstars. Safe and DOT approved and cheap.

Silverstars on left side, stock on right, inside a huge wharehouse with huge lights on.

I had the Nokia bulbs on my TC for about 1 month, turned out that one of my lights went out, so what did my dumbass do???. I went and bought another pair, 2 days later same crap happened. Decided to take a closer look and my harness actually fried. I took it to the dealer, and told them the car had a defect, they believed me and fixed it for free. My question or fear is, What would happen if I want to make an H.I.D. conversion, and also has this happened to any one else???

Why even bother then?? And to all those lucky TC owners that this has not been an issue so far, it might be so just be aware of this problem.

hmm... these HIR bulbs interest me. I've never heard of them before, but they look pretty impressive. How long do they typically last?

halo is short for halogen wrong. Halo is the brand. I got it from the dealer today. I'll take pics when I have time. Got a project to do this week tho.

They looked really white and seemed to be brighter than SilverStars when I saw them at the dealers so i thought id give em a try. but when i got home and installed them today it looks like silverstars are less white but do have more light output. but it isnt night time yet so i cant really tell. and the thing thats worrying me right now is that on the Halo bulbs it says 55w, but on the silverstars they say 51w. BUT on the silverstars BOX it says 55w also. so which is it? am i running a risk right now with the 55w halos in? lemme know so i can return them if i need to..

anyone know where I can get Philips NightGuide bulbs? I can't find them anywhere. All the parts stores around here basically only sell PIAA, Nokya, APC, or Sylvania bulbs. Here's some more info on the NightGuides http://www.nam.lighting.philips.com/us/automotive/products/nightguide.php
