I was just wondering has anyone bought one of those muffler tips to put on their xB? I went with stock exhaust so I have that plain old tube sticking out So if you have added one of those screw on tips, do you have a pic of what it looks like?

Well here's what available from partznet.com. I'm not sure how it's installed, I havent inquired from them. They state that it is easy to install. Looks nice. :D

Got mine from autozone for $25. Bolts on in 5 min.
I think its like 3.5"OD, maybe 4". I'm out of town right now, so next weekend I'll get a better pic and measure it.

from my understanding and I may be wrong, the muffler tips go over the tip of the stock and have a screw which tightens them to the stock tip, some tips can be welded to the stock tip , well every one that I have seen has been one of those ways.

The factory tip is held on with tabs that allow it to be pushed on for installation. To remove the tip, you need use a screwdriver to pry the tabs away from the pipe.

the factory tip is a _____ to get off. i lifted the clips that hold it on but it still wouldnt budge. i thne got a hammer and with the screwdriver, i softly budged it out of place until i was able to just pull it off.

hammered off the stocker and bolted it on in just a few minuets!

That group buy is only for the manual tranny exhaust which sounds like hell on an auto tranny box...

whats the purpose of the tip again. Would it be better to just get a new exhaust or something?
