Default It's official...I'm a moron. oem armrest help!

I recently traded my boomerang for an oem armrest with a fellow member here. I watched him remove it and it looked fairly simple. I know the center metal bracket goes under the seat rails but where does it latch on to? I found a thread here from awhile back but the pics are broken,I am no good without pics. Please help an inferior out.Thanks.

Here is a link to the OEM manual. They connect to the seat rails.

Thanks, but the pics are not so great. Is the part it attaches to the plastic cover on the rails or is it under the plastic piece?

You can remove that plastic piece to put it on if it is confusing you. You don't want it latching on to the plastic piece. It should connect to the rail towards the back so it doesn't interfere with moving the seat. Try spinning the bracket around. If you have it backwards it won't go.

It should fit in a groove where the xB is stamped on the plastic (the very upper part) piece that fits in the cubby hole. It is a very tight fit. I ended up using a channel lock plier to "encourage" it to get into the groove. I didn't think it was that filmsy after the install, but I don't have anything to compare it to.
