i was cruzin to school today and along the way i passed the a guy who turned his xB into a pilote car. you know those cars you see infront of big trucks hauling large over size loads. i didnt know weather to laugh or give a thumbs up. has anyone else seen anything crazy like that and if so what was it.

 

I saw that guy going up 5 the other day. Must be a Nor CA company.

I've seen several wrapped in vinyl advertising and one that was being used by a security company---hope they don't have to get anywhere in a hurry....

 

I saw this when I went to the Cubs game last month.



Don't know what it was used for, but thought it was cool.

 

Here in anchorage, there is a silver box that i always see with about 5 ladders on the lumber rack on top of his car LOL.

 

Too bad they didn't continue the side stripes to the front of the car to complete the effect. Looks kind of half done.

 

this weekend i saw one in san francisco as a taxi.... very cool! i wonder if they will ever offer them as rental cars in california.

 

yep i think im the only xB owner in Biggs, kinda nice to be the only one in town. unfornatly my town pop is only like 2k but still only xB there WHOOOOT!

 

I'm in Los Molinos. 23 miles north of Chico on 99. Population 1200. I know I'm the only XB in town! I travel to yuba City twice a week for work and sometimes I take the XB.

We have a huge fleet of taxi cabs in vegas that are Hotel hoppers in white and silver> They a pretty useful on the strip.

Local pizza shop has one covered in vinyl that they use to deliver pizza.

 

A local franchise of a nationwide pizza chain has a xA and a tC as delivery cars. But I think they're owned by the delivery people. And there is a computer repair place that is vinyl wrapped with their logos. It's pretty cool.

 

Gotta love the "PostalTruck" setup. It's what I used as inspiration for the vinyl job I had done on my delivery box.

am under an oversize load at the present time (west seneca, ny to everett, wa..my escort is making his maiden run in a white (re-painted to "screaming Hurt yer eyes Yellow") xb..
he says that it is just the right size, and used that "make-a-bed" feature save's him $55 in motel bill per night

 

That postal truck is quite possibly one of the coolest things I have ever freakin seen! lol.
