I wanna know if anyone is attending or entering Wired 96.5's car slam June 3 at Penn's Landing. http://www.autorush.com/coverage/. Go here for more info since Wired's website is vague about the event. I'll prolly be there but I dont plan to enter my TC. Just wanted to know.

 

may go, we went last year and entered a supra, volvo and lexus is300. last year there was a killer stripper car wash. sweet. show was pretty beat though. its the funk flex thing again rite?? thats what it was last year.

don't think i'll enter the tc (though i may show it if i drive it down there).

 

Naw I don't think funk flex is sponsoring it this year. His show was on the wack side last year at the Liacouras Center. I doubt it's going to be really impressive since it's a free show, but who knows. Maybe the box with the stripper pole will be there so then we can get some of those strippers to use it.

I'm just gonna roll by there w/ my TC and check it out. Maybe everyone can convince the girl I'm dating to enter the bikini contest so she can win me some $$$. LOL!

 

The Wired Car Slam last year was only hosted by Funk Master Flex. He's tight with the station from I understand. I went to the show last year and it was probably the best outdoor show I've been to in a long time. The cars were hot.

You should try to show your ride if it's modified...this years Wired 96.5 show sounds off the hook! They stepped up the game this year. Half pipe and skatepark, 10 car classes, a DUB 20" TIS rim giveaway, Sheldon Brown from the Eagles with his rides, live hip hop. I heard Chio pop a plug about some crazy bikini contest too for $1000.
Me and my TC crew are hitting the show...no doubt. Wired also has that sweet BAM Scion TC with the crazyest paint I've ever seen.

I was thinking bout showing my TC but it's not finished yet. I just ordered the TRD intake and it'll be in either tomorrow or Monday so I won't be able to show it off til the Team Scion show in September. I tuned a bunch of other things on the TC, but it's still under construction.

Where are you guys gonna be? I might join you and chill for a few. Maybe you can convince my date to enter the bikini contest. LOL. What time's the event?

 

Good question on location...the commercial mentions Conicelli is bringing a cool tricked out TC done by CarEffex so I might hover there for a while. I was reading somewhere that becuase the show is free it's lame...man, all radio station gigs are free. I appreciate the fact that they support the industry. I'll be rolling about 11am.
