(pics) Tialian 05-24-2006, 12:10 AM So many people have viewed this post that my bandwidth from my image provider has been exceeded so just look at my profile for the pics. Big_Bird 05-24-2006, 12:25 AM pix no worky OrAnGeBoX 05-24-2006, 12:33 AM That ish looks dope Big_Bird 05-24-2006, 12:45 AM retraction, it looks hot Max 05-24-2006, 12:54 AM Looks good man, I have the same lights and turn bulbs. Some people had some fogging issues, but not me! K-i-s-s 05-24-2006, 04:11 AM i was thinking about getting those how is the lighting of the road compared to the stock head lights? 3s-RWD-xB 05-24-2006, 04:48 AM NICE!!! btodailly 05-24-2006, 05:31 AM i think this totally changed my mind on that grill and angel eye projectors.. jesus that looks good man Tialian 05-24-2006, 11:32 AM This setup is incredible, these headlights are super bright (near HID IMHO). I put silver stars in them of course but then again before these I had the halo lights with the 3 LEDs and they were HORRIBLE, the light they projected was crap and I did have one occasion that the driver side light fogged up - worse than stock. With these new headlights when I took them out of the box to put some silicone seal on them they already looked like they were sealed up really well so I put them in, hooked them up and went through a car wash and didn't have any fogging problems at all. I've heard of people getting bad sets of headlights but I guess I was one of the lucky ones because these were perfect, I put them up against a wall and had no problems aiming them. The foglights in the grill are super bright and of course you want to point them down towards the road and only actually use them during a fog...much better looking than those ugly (IMHO) blocky stock foglights. I'm so happy with them and I thank Max for going through the effort of providing pics earlier that showed how they looked and what the light pattern was like. violent_b 05-24-2006, 12:07 PM I have the same grill. I like it alot. I took out the bulbs and put my strobe lights in them. bright as heck. looking good, keep up the good work! chrischoi 05-24-2006, 04:58 PM different color lights would bother me... looks nice... too many rings though.. lol. Maicca 05-24-2006, 06:13 PM I have yet to see a single grille with lights in it on an xB that I like. SuperMario6582 05-25-2006, 07:10 AM diggin the headlights man. just may have to order me up a set. richdog 05-28-2006, 07:31 AM that is an awesome look......I got the headlights and a grille similar to that but it is open in the middle instead of the center piece orangeNblack 05-31-2006, 07:55 PM just got my grill yesterday, it fits great, now i'm getting it painted to match. headlights are next. sabot7726 05-31-2006, 07:58 PM Those grille halos are pretty dope. A lot of people are getting their stuff painted to match, is there a source for the proper color of scion paint? I.E. blue onyx? orangeNblack 05-31-2006, 08:09 PM the paint code is in the drivers door jam. any body shop should know how to find the code and match the color. orangeNblack 05-31-2006, 08:11 PM does any one have any pointers on how to wire the fog lights and holo's? my car didnt come with fog lights so i have no previous wires to splice. sabot7726 05-31-2006, 08:12 PM Thank you sir. zinker 05-31-2006, 08:15 PM thw wiring is already the you should be able to find them richdog 06-01-2006, 02:49 AM I think I'm going to hook mine into my lights....When I turn the parking lights on the halos come on and when I turn the lights on the halos and the lights come on.....sound good  crazy_kat_matt 06-01-2006, 02:51 AM modified halos... http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e276/crazy_kat_matt/DSCN7785.jpg stick_1NZ 06-01-2006, 04:55 AM Lookin' nice Matt! BoughettiXB 06-01-2006, 06:10 AM Wow cool Matt! I like that. Was it difficult to change out the LEDs in the halos? One of my halos went out and it's really been bothering me. I really want to replace them all. :tap: Tialian 06-01-2006, 02:56 PM I think I'm going to hook mine into my lights....When I turn the parking lights on the halos come on and when I turn the lights on the halos and the lights come on.....sound good  The way mine is setup when I turn my parking lights on all the halos come on and when I turn my lights on the halos still stay on, I actually ran a separate wire and switch for the fog lights rather than splice into the factory fog light wiring...I couldn't even find the factory fog light wires inside the car anyway, I only found the plugs under the hood that would go into the lights. Oh my pics on this post are still there but with all the views this post has had I've exceeded my bandwidth for the month so just look at my profile for the pics :P crazy_kat_matt 06-01-2006, 03:43 PM Wow cool Matt! The reason I asked is that I put them on my '06 and I had to disconnect and remove two SRS sensors in order from them to fit. orangeNblack 06-23-2006, 03:47 PM i had to make no adjustments for my grill to fit but i have an '04. Tialian 06-25-2006, 09:22 AM On the fog lamp/ halo grill, what did you do with the SRS sensors? The reason I asked is that I put them on my '06 and I had to disconnect and remove two SRS sensors in order from them to fit. SRS sensors? Like for airbags? I didn't notice any on the grill with my 05 xB. Maybe it's new on the 06. |
