I'm in debate between wether i should get the SC or the turbo. Unless i can find out otherwise of the turbo voiding the warranty...i need to go with the SC because i'm in california and if i get my hood popped and there's no CARB sticker to keep my car off the truck then i'm screwed. The question i have is...Is there another way to up the psi on the SC other than upgrading the pulleys...in other words, a CARB legal way
Thanx for any input, i appreciate it

Not necessarily upping the PSI, but you could have an intercooler added... I don't know much about CARB, but that should still keep it "legal" as far as I know. But I think at this point, it would still have to be custom, since no one actually has "released" one yet.

I've seen another post before regarding that and they said that the intercooler actually took away from the HP. Is their another way to hook it up or how would it work to add HP? Thanx for your response ack
I have talked to people at Vortech... They said FMIC can be added to any of their blowers but could end up less efficient.... Since FMIC requires longer pipings which increases the volume of the air intake passege, which means logner time to compress the air....(less boost pressure).
The best cheap alternative IMO would be a
Boost Cooler (Water/Methanol Injection System)
Boost Cooler Benefits:
•Greatly reduced EGT’s. Decreases of 250 degrees F are common using a 50/50% Methanol /Water mix. This prevents the usual problems associated with high exhaust car temperatures - rings sticking, holed pistons, etc.
•Low cost power - where else can you get HP for $500 along with reduced EGTs.
•Greatly increased air charge densities - 3-5 psig boost increases are common.

The only way to RAISE boost on a supercharged car is by using a different pulley. You can raise your horsepower though by adding other mods to make your engine run more efficiently and make more WHP. Stuff like intake, exhaust, header, a properly routed intercooler, other pulleys, and the list goes on and on.
