It's a good teenager car (i'm 17), just don't get blinded by the whole hip hop advertising campaign and end up with a car you don't actually like; you'll probably have it for a long time. It's great for the money though, especially with the low upkeep/gas costs it'll have over the life of the car.

You'll be able to put your friends in the back seat, even with the front seats all the way back there's acres of leg room.

I'm 17 and I think the xB is the perfect teenager car.

-it's unbelievably cheap

-awesome gas mileage

-lots of standard features

-Toyota reliability (to put parents minds at ease)

-roomy (plenty of room for friends)

-pimpin'

I just wish they were out in my area last year...I like my car, but it's no xB.

For the kid who has an xB and is only 15...I hate you (j/k...jealous is a better word)

I'm not a teenager anymore (25) but the xB seems like a great car for with the gas mileage, customizability (is that a word), and the way it stands out. I'm putting some faith into its attraction for teenagers as I own a skate shop and am planning to buy one primarily for advertising. My friend owns a graphics shop so getting it custom decaled isn't a problem.

I figure I'll slap 18's on it and some other custom stuff to make it stand out. Got to get my payment under $200 a month so I have to wait till about September or so till we get it.

Also, anyone know of a good permanent roof rack that will fit? Need one for all the snowboards.

Yes... as everyone has stated this is the perfect car for a 16-year-old! It just can't be beat! I'm also 16, gettin my polar white probably around August. I just don't see any other car that can compare to it. It's a fun little car to drive around with a bunch of friends with all the windows open and driven through town just cruisin. Just don't be dissapointed about its power, it is a car to cruise around in, nothing real fast.

I say get that job and buy that XB man! :o

I'm 18. I was planning on an xB, but since I can afford more expensive cars, I probably won't be getting one. I'm looking at cars right at $25k now.
