I haven't been able to find the answer to this in searching, so...
Does anyone know what size floor jack is sufficient for a lowered tC (mine is on TRD Springs)? Is a 15" sufficient or would one need an 18 inch or so? I have a "baby" floor jack that offers 12" but that can't get the wheels up. Hopefully someone could tell me from actual experience! Thanks guys!

Come on now, nobody knows? Most everybody on here does work themselves on the car that involves a floor jack...nobody has any info?

Ok, nvm. I'll have to use the trial and error method I suppose
And this thread is now officially useless!

any jack is fine. if you have problems getting the wheels off which i dont thing you will. just put a block of wood under it before you lift

I have a crappy 12" floor jack that does not get the car off the ground. In fact, the wheels are still planted rather firmly. I would never just put a block of wood under it or something on top to enable it to life the car higher. That is incredibly dangerous.

Not really dangerous at all. I have used a block cut from a 2x4 for years. You are only jacking the car up and you should be putting jackstands under it for support.

Exactly, the jack stands are crucial, but while jacking the car up, the jack could slip when adding a piece of wood. I have seen someone come within a centimeter of death jacking up the car like that, so I would never. But if you are confident enough in what you're doing - God bless!
you can always buy a one of those extended jack pads (i think thats what those things are called)

I have one of these. It works great on my lowered XB and it's relatively cheap.
