I hope to be getting mine soon if they drive it down from another dealership. It got me thinking... At what point do they draw the line on a "new" vehicle and say that it is used, or do they? Is it possible to buy it new with more than 100 mi on it? 200? 500? 1000? How many did you have on your odometer?

 

If it becomes a used vehicle they can charge you more--thats the sad fact about Sc ions...........I think I had about 7 miles on mine. I put on about 5 of those on the test drive.

 

Mine had 1 on it... 1.4 after the test drive.

 

mine had 2 to start with, but had never been test drove.... 24 after my test drive

 

I had 2 miles on the odometer when I picked it up from the dealer. My last new car had 26 miles on it. I don't know if there is a specific mileage when it is considered an used car. If the car has been title that definitely makes it an used car.

 

Mine only had 2 on it as well. They had just put it on the lot Saturday night when they closed, so I ended up being the first one to test drive it.
I don't know where they draw the line as new or used vehicle b/c of mileage, that's a question that you should ask your dealership sales manager. If you are really concerned b/c they will be driving it in from another dealership, you have to decide if that's the one you really want. If the other dealership isn't too far away, have you thought of just going and getting it yourself? At least that way, you'd be the one puting the miles on it.

mine had 10 on it befor my demonstration ride.....52 after...
and as a note..I asked the dealer if they extended the warrenty to account for the demonstrator use and they (Capitol Toyota/Scion,Salem.OR) said no that they do not extend the warrenty miles ..ahh well... still bought it..

wife said that her's had 1 mile on it..

The one I bought a few days ago had 5 miles on it. I was sort of sad it had already been driven that much, lol.

 

Pfft... mine had 248, it had to be driven up from the port to my dealer. I thought it was kind of high, but the car is clean and I've been too busy driving to POST.

Just got it on Tuesday night!

I had 4 when I got in it to test drive on sunday.

I put 5 miles on bringing it to 9

Went back on Tuesday for the wife to test it, and it still had 9, she put another 5 on bringing it to 14

Then I bought it and picked it up the next day with 14.5 on it, they had to drive it to the gas station for a fill up

 

mine had around 200 something

The 1st "brand new" PW xB i test drove, an 06 model, had the WORKS done to it. sunroof, huge rims, ipod head unit, etc, had 300 miles on it. it was the model that the dealers let everyone test drive! i almost bought it because it looked awesome but they wanted like 19grand and change for it!!!

so i ordered a brand new one, an 06 xb, and it came with 1 mile on it! no options though, but i did pay 4 grand less than the pimped out version the dealer was trying to stick me with ;]

mine had a whopping 35 miles on it when i bought it 8 months ago, drove it to work alot and miles were building so i bought 2 other cars so i didnt drive it as much.... Just hit 11,000 last night as a matter of fact.

 

141, I thought that was high until i saw some of the others above, 300+

 

mine had 156 and they let me test drive it over a weekend so it had 218 on it when i bought it
