Default New eD setup need advice on wireing

Hello,

I just bought 2 NINe.2 amps, a set of eDi 6000s, and an 11Ov.2 sub.

I am a beginer with car audio though and am unsure of what all I need for wiring...

any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated...

cheers-

-Tyler

You will need minimum of 1 x 8ga power wire (red) to each. Or 1 x 4ga to a distro block then split to 2 x 8ga. Be sure to fuse the power lead, within 1 foot of the battery with the correct amperage fuse! Very important! Grounds (black) sized same or larger than power and as short as possible. Less than a foot is good.

Also 2 x stereo RCA (signal to amps) cables and speaker wire. For 6000's, 18ga OK if short runs, 16/14ga is better. I like minimum 12/10ga for the subs. Finally some blue 16/18ga for the remote turn on wire.

Heres eD recommended for 2 amps:

Check eBay if you are on a budget.

Some crimps or solder, heat shrink tubing or tape (uggh!) and zip ties to keep it neat. Buy enough wire, it sucks to end up too short. Less (none) splices the better!

Check out the wiring diagram @ elemental, depends if you bought a D2 or D4 Ov2:

Hopefully, you got a D2.

Tanakasan, some time ago you sent me the install files for the stuff you did on eD speakers and amps, could you resend it to me in a file I could open. Thanks again for the help.
