I absolutely love my car
Here is my little Haiku about my tC.
To start, I am 31 and this is my first NEW car ever. I am not jealous of those kids on here who are 16 and 17 with a new one, but I definately waited longer in life to appreciate the feeling of a brand new car.
Where to start....
Ok, as for looks, I just love it. My wife thinks its "ok", but hmmmphh. I think it has a look that stands out. Not in an outrageous way, but in a way that makes people look at it for a minute and think "hmmm, that car is a little different. What is it"?
I think its fast. Yes, I actually do. Saying that though, you must realize this is relative. Some of my previous cars? Lets see..caprice classic wagon (was my parents..my first car they let me drive when i was 16), a 80+ horsepower Subura DL sedan (500 miles to the tank though), a '73 VW bus....
You get the picture. Not exactly 1/4 miles machines. So, to have the tc and be in 3rd and step on....Yeah, that is fast for me.
It has no rattles or squeeks at all. The ride is a little more firm than I am used to, but I have never had a car with this suspension and low profile tires. It is a new experience, but I love it.
Last night around midnight, I was bored (probably because I sobered up by then) so I popped in an mp3 cd with about 120 songs and took a short ride...was maybe only 50 miles. Half on the highway and half on a nice winding road. Sun roof back, music loud, both windows down, just totally enjoying myself.
I really have NO complaints about this car, at ALL! Sure, I can find fault with a few things, but they don't bother me at all. I bought the car knowing that for its cost, it wont be a top of the line luxury car, but that is ok with me. For now, I am thoroughly loving my little $16,000 car.

Dude, I love my car too.
Im comming from a 1992 Toyota Camry that for the better part of my relationship with it, had very little paint left on it.
I go outside now and am like "Who's sexy ___ _____ ____ing machine is that causing the sun and the moon to rise and fall every day"
And I say, "yes, that is my earth moving machine."
I love my car too dude...i love my car too.

"Fast" is "relative" for me too! I switched from an A/T 1988 Toyota Carolla P.O.S. that couldn't merge at highway speed if my life depended on it and needed to be parked facing uphill in the rain so the leak in the trunk wouldn't spill over into the cabin!
First time I chirped the tires on my 5-Speed tC I was like: "WTF WAS THAT!?!"
When I finally broke the 1000 mile barrier afterthe break-in and got on it for the first time:
:D
It really is a thing of beauty too. EVERY time I park somewhere and I walk away, I have to look back and admire my baby!

I have to chime in on this one too. I had a 2006 Civic, and I really liked the car, but it was just another nice car. When i traded in for the my AP tC i has already picked the color and options and all as i was supposed to on the internet. Its MY car. I dressed it up with Rims, TRD Springs, rear lip, etc.... and now I just cant help but grin when i drive it. I look back at it when i get out, i look out the window at it from my desk at work. I love my car!!
Yeah, I love my car too. People are always coming up to me asking about my car. I came from a 92 camry too. This will be a car that i'll probably keep forever. I love it so much and it's such a fun car to drive.
And to think, I thought about trading this car in several months ago...

Ugh, come on, people!

This is the tc owners lounge..to talk about all things tc related. Well, this was related to me loving my tc and addressing some issues that other people have had (rattles, slowness, etc).
If you don't think this post should be where it is, message a mod, dont waste your time adding to the thread in such a useless way that you did.
i upgraded from a 95 volvo 850...a friggin steel box on wheels
i love my new tC especially that it's stick and not automatic
my one complaint is that while it's got some "pep" or "quicknes" it could be a little faster
but hey thats what turbochargers are for :-D

I need to jump on the band Wagon. Well i love my tC and i don't even own it yet. I'll be picking it up tomarrow and i just can't wait. Well it's already tomarrow so i guess i'll pick it up in a few hours.
I have test driven it and coming from a 98 Suzuki Sidekick it's fast for me. I don't mind not having the fastest car. The look of the car and the feeling you have when you drive it. I don't think i'll never hate being seen in the tC.
