Allright i searched as much as I could about the issue that I have with my CAI. I installed cai today cuz it was raining here for a while and I had my SRI on. when i was installing the cai pipe itself I noticed that when everything is in place the pipe itself touches the fender

anything to wory about? or all of the injens are like that?

mine was like that....i just took some rubber that i had cut off from another rubber piece in the package and taped that to the fender....worked fine for me.

 

rubba dub dub.

 

go to the hardware store get another coupling or rubber ring that is the same id as the od of the intake pipe...

get that slip it on and put it where it hits the fender
