We will be watching 3 Fast 3 Furious (get it!? :silly:) at

7:55 (7:15 is sold out!)

at the southdale center. We'll be at Bloomington Kennedy around 6:30-6:45 and head to Water Tower at Southdale after that. We'll have about an hour to chill n stuff before the movie starts. I'll bring my camera along so we can take pics and videos.

Make sure you get your tickets early just in case we get there and there is a long line or it's sold out. I'll be getting my ticket thursday after i get off work around 6' ish, if you want to meet up and hang out for a bit, PM me for my cell.

Then we'll be heading to Uni after so come if you can![/b]

definently... i know for sure for about 100 we can rent a VIP room to watch it... so we split the cost of the 100 plus tickets it shouldent be too much... i belive it holds about 15 people... but i can check into it... if were going to hav emore people than that we can just use the regular theater

The movie plot sucks, the actors are not great and all of the race filming was done here in Cali. Very little of it has anything to do with the real Tokyo and its racing scene. It is supposed to be a realistic rendition of street drifting, realistic is downhill mountain pass racing. You want something more interesting, check out Initial D, and not the US released DVD’s. The Import original and uncut stuff is what you want to see.

Southdale is fine with me.

I definitely want to see it so maybe me and my bf will come. I know we are supposed to go with a bunch of guys from DB Performance but I am not sure when they are all going. That is also the weekend we might be going to Iowa for racing so I am not sure how that will fit in either. I will keep checking to see what time you decide and figure it all out.

We should get there early and load up that little lot by the water tower. If we go for a 7:00ish show then we should go an hour or so early so we can chill for a bit first. Then again if it's southdale than that won't happen because it'll be full already anyway. At least at the Mall of America the top floor of one of the ramps MIGHT have a clear section we could all park in.

yeah meeting early is a good idea... someone will need to be there first (probly chanman since he planned it) and post his cell # or somthing so we can call to know where were going to meet

dude this is messed up... they have show times for a movie coming out july 12th... but not for one coming out in less then a week! what if there not showing it there!?!?! i looked at the MOA has show times for it... i say we wait a few more days at the most an dif times dont show up we swith to the MOA instead... ill also call my friend tomorrow who works at the SD AMC and see what he can tell me about it

It has just come to my attention that they will be showing this at the Drive-In this Friday at Vali-Hi (in Lake Elmo). I'm going there instead - they're also playing Over the Hedge and XMen 3. Watch a movie about cars in my car? Suuure thing. 8)

Just called the Southdale AMC theater and asked how many seats were still available... He said only 30 tickets have been pre-sold as of 3:00pm and the theater can sit 450 peeps. So there are plenty of seats still available...

The movie was pretty good, but with most of the race scenes filmed in the US and very little really filmed in Japan kinda made me angry... stupid budgets! Cars were all great, a ton of JDM Toyota bB’s and isT’s, very kewl!

The fact that they didn't sub all of the Japanese spoken scenes but only the most important ones, was the best thing about the film... I love knowing Japanese! Probably confused some of you, but you could understand what was going on with just the visuals. I was a little disappointed that they were not as accurate with the Japanese culture as I thought they would be, could have done a little better there.

All around a good film, a fun event, just hoped that it didn't have to rain! :P
