Mods, This is simply a post to gauge interest in our designs. If interests is high then of course we will become a paid sponsor and only post parts for sale in the sponsored sales section.

After making the prototype in my personal TC, I had numerous "understatement" pm's and emails asking if I would make more of these. The answer is yes. The finished product if people are interested will be 100% bolt on with 0 modifications needed. The gauge mount also is 100% removable so you can put the dash back to stock in a heartbeat.

The production panels are all flawless carbon fiber panels. Each will be hand made, test fitted with quality guaranteed. All panels will have steel reinforced backing for strength and support. Each panel for the tc will match the curve of the dash perfectly.

If produced, There will be 3 basic designs. Prices of each design to not include shipping. "Priority mail expected to be around $7.00"

Of course if in production, there will be a discount for pre-orders here on scionlife!

#1 A blank panel with reinforcements so you can mount pretty much anything you desire to the console. $69.99

#2 A panel with a single din cutout on the top for a stereo. "can mounts should not be used with this item, a re-drill of the factory mount will be required" $79.99

#3 A panel as pictured below with three 52mm cutouts and a single din opening. "can mounts should not be used with this item, a re-drill of the factory mount will be required" $89.99

Last item, there will be a custom fit carbon fiber bolt in panel for the cubby hole. It will hold a single 52mm or 60mm gauge. To the left of the gauge, will be blank carbon fiber so custom items, switches, bass gain knobs or whatever can be mounted. This is expected to sell for $39.99 if produced.[/b]

And of course, custom items can be produced.

Things that will not happen or work.... 60mm gauges with a din deck will not happen. A din deck with 52mm gauges AND the door assembly will not happen. You will have to eliminate the door in order for this to work.

Let me know what you guys think and how if you are interested. If there is enough interest, I will be in the sponsored sales section within a week taking pre-orders.

that looks like da hotness. would be cool for the cali guys if the gauges went in a little more and it had a small door to cover them just in case they get pulled over

Sorry a door is not possible as the gauges + deck are to tall. But with a little handy work, A nice cover could be made to pop on or off of everything.

thanks man! I will be working on a version soon that can house a single din deck with the door still in place. Below the deck will just be blank carbon fiber for looks or to install anything you would like...

could you make a prototype of a single din with 3 gauge cutouts that allows the door to go up and down?

Garage1217

With smaller gauges, wouldn't the door close easily? Only thing holding it up seems to be that the HU and gauges extend too far out for the door.

Looks great, though!

Nope, door actually takes up quite a bit of vertical space. It is simply not possible to to have the door, a deck and 52mm gauges.

Just a heads up... I had allot of call for semi custom mounts with say 2 or 1 gauge etc... Here are some examples of different versions than you will be able to order. The website will be up hopefully by this weekend so you can check things out in more detail!

Hey desert, you think you could make a 2 gauge holder for the cubbyhole? For 52mm that is

Garage1217
06-01-2006, 05:05 PM
I can make a single gauge... the part over the cig lighter is almost 52mm exactly in height. I actually have a gauge just pressure fit in that location right now the fit is so tight. If I did make one it would have to be two peice, one for the left side of gauge 1 and one for the right side of gauge 1 that also would hole a second gauge.... Hope that makes sense *LOL*.

Hey guys, did not know if you saw the website but it is up! Also I was able to drop the price of the gauge mounts quite a bit because I am able to produce them cheaper than I expected!
