Hey guys, im looking into headers and ive pretty much decided on the MMW setup. Now i read that this setup doenst throw a CEL which is very important to me. Now secondly, right now I have TRD Exhaust and the INJEN CAI.

If i throw these MMW headers/s-pipe on my car will it have awful rasp? According to what i've read, the answer seems to be yes and the only solution would be replaceing my mid pipe with a custom one with big resonators on it.

1. This might be a silly question but this makes the car completely illegal right? Like when I get inspected they will notice the lack of the cat on there, and say no good?

2. What would you guys do, MMW or Alpha with ZPI S-pipe?

3. Has anyone actually busted their engine using the ZPI Pulley or NST Pulleys?

4. Anyone want hotchkis sway bars? Brand new, never put on. I just openend the box and looked.

5. IF anyone has my exact setup (INJEN, trd, MMW) and thats it. Please let me know how your car sounds!

1. What state are you in? Do you have emissions testing for inspection?

2. MMW if I had $$.

3. Not that I know of. Maybe some issues with the supercharger and pulley swapping, but not NA.

4. You'll need to post an ad in the Classifieds - but you have to wait until you have 50 posts.

5. I don't.

 

The car will have horrific rasp. Weld on an extra resonator.


1)No cat--> illegal. Here in NC, you can find a few inspection places that are kinda lazy. I know a few around here that won't even look for a cat.
2)I would def go with Alpha

5)I know where a clip is. Let me find it and i'll post it up. The guy has a 30" magnaflow resenator on it too, so you'll get to hear your combo with no rasp

Oh oops, u were looking for the Monster Motorworks Header, well, eh, probably sound just about the same.

 

yeah, the mmw header throws now CEL because it comes with an O2 anti-fouler
