Hi Guys,
Thanks for the comments. Yes, the car is just awesome and I am glad I chose xA instead of the Yaris.
Well, as of now I am thinking installing the keyless entry kit from scionspecialists.
I saw an older thread on this which was for 2005 models. I am aware of the"slight" changes in the documentation for 2006 models.
But, do u guys know if they have updated their documentation for 2006 models.
Thanks

I just installed this on my xA last week. There's nothing specific for the '06 in the docs, but it isn't needed. There's a couple of wires that are slightly off from the older xAs, but they're all so close together anyway that you won't notice.
If you're not getting the alarm with it, you won't have a long green wire with the short green one. That was the only spot where I was iffy on the directions.
If you don't want the horn to honk (LOUDLY) when using the keyless, don't connect the brown wire. You could always try it out before closing up everything after installing.
And if you aren't getting the optional alarm, when you see the directions, and they look a bit scary, just cross out the sections that don't apply. You'll see the steps are few and simple enough.
The remote has a tiny blue LED that lights up when you press a button. Love it!
Enjoy!!
