Nice Pics.

(and that's my favorite movie! - that bugs bunny...what an actor.)

Nice to see a baby seat in.

We're expecting, so I'm starting to look at these... Any recommendations?

thanks and congrats

mitchell, thanks and best of luck with your future family member. We have had that seat for a while, as our boy is almost 4yrs old. For a newborn, I believe that you want a rear facing "cradle type car seat. I would suggest one that disconnects from a secured base that stays in the car. Get one with the "LATCH" system. Better yet, I beleive that there is a new type of child restraint system that the xB is compatable with. I cant remember the name, but it allows you to bypass using the seatbelt from the vehicle. All major namebrand babyseat manufacturers are utilizing this technology by now I'm sure. The newer carseats have straps that hook into hidden recepacles in the back seat located roughly where the seatback meets the seat.

Nathant888, That is the Audiovox alarm remote. It has a little LCD screen on it. Kinda looks like a cell phone to me, I wish it worked as a cell phone too. Maybe that will be next from the security system manufacturers. A dual function alarm remote/cell phone.

XBman, Loony Toons rules as of late , with my boy.

Nice car. Where can I find one of the hood bras that cover the hood like the one with the front cover? I don't want the one that looks like a bug shield.

xbbox, that bra is made by Colgan Custom, and it is the "carbon fiber look". I think it was about a bill and a half, maybe a little cheaper...cant remember. here is a link:

thanks kwicslvr.

Nathant888, so far so good rollin' on the Conti's. No complaints. Grips well, performs well in the rain. Not the tire that I intended on getting but Discount Tire screwed up, so they offered me these at the same price. Supposedly a little better tire than what I was planning on. I do like them however. The have a nice design to them, in my opinion. Although it cant be seen in my pics, where the tread meets the side wall, the treads make like a continuous shark fin pattern. Kinda hard to explain well, but looks cool.

Nice job, just remember to turn off the tv once in a while. Letting your kids watch TV for more than an hour a day raises their chances of having ADD by 10% for each additional hour.

To whoever was looking for a car seat: just bring it to the auto body shop and have it painted, you'll be the most ballin new father on the block.

looks very nice man congrats. Be careful with the bra though as they have a tendency to ruin your paint.

Hey DNA welcome aboard the forums and the Scion family!!!

Awesome Lava you have there!!! I like the work you've done so far, it's looking really nice :)

Oh I have to thank you for two things also...

One: Colgan Customs sems like a place I can trust to get a good bra for my Lava, and they're local where I'm at so I can head down there and get it installed...The prices are good too!!! Thank you for posting their link :)

Two: Through the Colgan website, I found a link for The Tint Pro's in Huntington Beach, and I just happened to be looking into tinting my windows as well :)

Take Care and HAPPY DRIVING!!!
